"Lonely Pylon" marks the new phase for Group Modular: after ten years of library-inspired space age groove releases, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv duo departs from drum-centric sound towards atmospheric soundscapes and hypnagogic patterns. The new tune isn't going far away from the retro-futuristic aesthetic that initially brought Mule Driver and Markey Funk together - yet it is touching new sonic territories that the two were eager to explore ever since finishing their second LP "Time Masters". If the recent release on Delights label, "Per Aspera Ad Astra", wraps a decade of space exploration, "Lonely Pylon" sees Group Modular finding the other-worldly in the day-to-day life back on Planet Earth.

Initially released in October 2022, on the split lathe-cut 7'' EP "L Series #3" by the Lisbon-based label Russian Library, the track is finally available on all digital platforms.
